ISYS® Search Software Builds on Channel Success With New OEM Partnerships

DENVER, Oct. 30, 2006 – ISYS® Search Software (www.isys-search.com), a global supplier of enterprise search solutions for business and government, today announced increased adoption of its ISYS:sdk application by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Recent OEM partners include Astea International, Metafile Information Systems, Obor Digital, Overtone Software and Scentric.

Along with its successful and longstanding implementations – in EMC’s EmailXtender application, TOWER Software’s TRIM Context software and ADERANT’s business management solution, ADERANT Expert – these new partnerships speak to ISYS:sdk’s proven flexibility, reliability and strength as an embedded search solution. Over the years, ISYS:sdk has been used inside a variety of applications, including email archiving, e-discovery, records and document management, recruitment and document imaging applications.

Metafile looked to ISYS:sdk to enable search inside its MetaViewer product, an enterprise content management system. Metafile customers using MetaViewer include Winn Dixie Stores, Sara Lee, Titleist and FootJoy.

Obor Digital uses ISYS for its Zeus solution, a centralized technology management system providing full control over service business models and processes.

Overtone Software embedded ISYS in its Managetone for Microsoft Exchange application, which offers enterprise-level archiving and is the leading XML Archive for mailboxes and compelling business events. “ISYS ensures all users of the messaging system archive can find their information through an easy-to-use Microsoft Outlook interface,” said Joshua Konkle, vice president of strategy and communications, Overtone Software. “Search and retrieval are the baseline by which archives are chosen. Scentric is committed to solving business problems related to the convergence of compliance and data growth. Its applications include: e-discovery for risk management, privacy compliance and legal support, as well as active archiving for retention-based compliance, corporate governance and digital records management. Scentric selected ISYS:sdk for use in its Destiny product.
