ISYS Search Software Used By Salt Lake City Detectives In Elizabeth Smart Kidnapping Investigation

DENVER - Sept. 16, 2003 - ISYS Search Software Inc., a global supplier of search software for businesses and government, has announced that Salt Lake City Police Crime Analysts used ISYS' sixth-generation search technology while investigating the kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart.

As the case is still ongoing, details concerning the specific use of ISYS are not being released at this time. However, Salt Lake's Crime Analysis Unit has confirmed the use of ISYS search software and its ability to assist agents in fielding new case leads.
