Over the last few months, ISYS has had the priviledge of bringing on several new customers. In Europe, Interfleet Technology tapped ISYS to handle its enterprise-wide search needs, while Woking Borough Council selected ISYS:web 7 to enable search capabilities on its public website. The US team brought mega-publisher International Data Group (IDG) on board, as well as the California Board of Equalization, which is using ISYS for its legal department.

At corporate HQ in Sydney, the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel chose ISYS:web 7 for PDF searching on its website; Blue Care also selected ISYS for website search functionality; and Meat and Livestock Australia is using ISYS on both its intranet and website.

Security in ISYS:web 7
You’ve installed ISYS:web 7, run searches on the Demo index, and marvelled at how easy it was to set up. Now you log into the ISYS:web Admin Console and create an index of your fileserver's 10 Gazillion documents, but every time you search it you get 0 hits in 0 documents.

What's going on? The most likely answer is your permission settings aren't configured properly.
