ISYS today announced Attensity has selected ISYS Document Filters to strengthen customer experience management solutions with high-performance extraction of unstructured content

MarkLogic’s flagship product, MarkLogic Server, is a purpose-built database for unstructured information. One of the key challenges in maximizing the value of unstructured information is the ability to extract text from the hundreds of file formats found in a typical business. To expand its capabilities in serving its customers’ unstructured information needs, MarkLogic chose to partner with ISYS.

Mr. Vadgama joins ISYS from marketing communications group M&C Saatchi, where he was Planning Director across a range of major clients, including Qantas, American Express, ANZ Bank, E*TRADE, ING, Woolworths, Rationale Skincare, Norton Rose and the Financial Services Council.

Gartner's report comes at a time of rapid growth for ISYS, as the company generates significant momentum around its embedded search, text extraction and comprehensive enterprise search offerings. One solution in particular – ISYS Document Filters – provides OEMs, ISVs and enterprises with high-performance text extraction and high-definition viewing. In recent weeks, ISYS has announced several new customers of its embedded solutions, including Sybase (An SAP Company), Janya, Bridgeline Digital and DocStor.

Bridgeline Digital is a developer of award-winning web engagement management software and interactive technology solutions. Recently, the company announced iAPPS v4.5, which incorporates ISYS’s embedded search technology as a key component of the suite. An innovative SaaS solution, the iAPPS Product Suite includes content management, e-commerce, e-marketing and analytics capabilities. By selecting the ISYS Integration Kit, Bridgeline now offers its customers best-in-class search across all iAPPS products.

The partnership between the two organisations began when a joint client – the Royal Military Police (RMP) – was looking to better merge the DocStor content management system with its enterprise search function, provided by ISYS. The two companies were able to work closely to make the two technologies work seamlessly together for the RMP, and this led DocStor to consider offering the ISYS technology to other existing and new clients.

Recently chosen by Sybase for its Sybase IQ analytics platform, ISYS Document Filters offers software providers a powerful and proven alternative to INSO and KeyView. ISYS Document Filters address the unique unstructured text extraction and information access needs of various analytic applications, including e-discovery, fraud detection and forensic analysis.
